What Sets Us Apart?

Company Knowledge, Experience, and Values

We have completed countless hours of training—investing thousands of dollars—to become certified in designing these systems and learn how to make a night time display look beautiful.

We know what color temperature to use for different trees, bushes, etc. We know what degree the beam spread should be to highlight the structure properly. We know how to focus on lighting up key features of your property to help them stand out from others. While low-voltage lighting projects can be tricky, we know the voltage/wattage rules of installing buried low-voltage electrical systems and how to make large projects work properly. We use both light and shadows together appropriately to transform your property into an artistic showpiece you are proud to come home to.

Nite Time Decor has done hundreds of installs including dozens of projects where over 100 individual fixtures were installed.

We strive to under-promise and over-deliver. Our goal and mindset is to deliver to every customer the absolute greatest value for your project which means we accept that our pricing may not be the cheapest, but the end product will be the highest value available to you as a consumer. When our work is done, we want our customers to feel like they received an exceptional value and would have happily paid more. When the installation is completed, we ensure you are 100% thrilled with the results before we conclude. If any adjustments are needed in order to meet your expectations, we will continue to work with you and incorporate your feedback into the finished results until you are absolutely satisfied.

High-grade Fixtures

Nite Time Decor oil-brushed brass fixtures each have a lifetime warranty. The brass structure of these fixtures is nearly twice as thick as most competitors (Volt, ProTrade, etc.). This makes them more durable than other comparable brands and far more durable than any aluminum fixture alternatives.

Our fixtures are installed with a built-in robust ABS stake. This is the same material used for sewer lines because it is far stronger than PVC. Most companies use PVC stakes which are cheaper because they are more fragile.

Our fixtures use retrofit lamps (bulbs) meaning if a lamp goes out we can just replace it. Many companies use integrated lamps which means when a bulb goes out you have to replace the entire fixture.

Our lamps have strong aluminum frames and are rated to run for 70,000 hours. If your system runs an average of 4 hours a night that is nearly 50 years before a lamp needs to be replaced with only a rare exception. Most other companies use cheaper plastic lamps that have far shorter life spans.

Superior Systems

The system is automated using a Meshtek Astro Timer. This smart Bluetooth timer can be controlled from your phone and uses geolocation to sync to the dusk and dawn times of your zip code. You can use the daylight times, or specific clock times for your lights to automatically turn on and off.

Our stainless steel transformers are the best in the industry; they are durable and have proven to stand the test of time and come with a lifetime warranty.

Quality Installations

We use various sizes of sturdy direct burial cable in our installs. While thicker (lower gauge) wire is more expensive, we primarily use 12 gauge and often 10 gauge wire to ensure our installations work flawlessly and have additional built-in electrical capacity. Many contractors try to get away with only 14 gauge or even 16 gauge wire in order to save money on their installation costs.

We do all our connections using the hub box method. As many fixtures as possible splice into the main power cable in one spot. This connection is then covered with a hub box that we can access at any time in the future to test voltage or make repairs. Since the main cable in our installations is spliced far fewer times than what a typical contractor would do, our installs are more energy efficient, easier to service, and less likely to incur problems. The hub box method is possible because our fixtures all come with a 25’ wire lead.

For our splices and connections, we use Q-lock wire connectors. These locking silicone filled splices last almost indefinitely with no maintenance. Most companies use grease filled tubes or wire nuts which have proven to be unreliable. The grease in these inferior connectors will eventually dry out leaving the copper inside exposed to the elements.
